I enrolled in to Year 10 at TLC in 2018, and have never regret my decision. The main reason why I did so well for my ‘IGCSE’ examinations were because of the many dedicated and well-trained teachers at TLC who patiently guide students step-by-step. The teachers use past year exam papers as a useful resource when teaching, which really helps with analysing questions. Ms Liyana was really nice as she always found alternative and interesting ways to explain the concepts of accounting. Chemistry was a breeze as Mr Kumaran is an excellent teacher, giving fun and easy ways to help us remember things. Mr Foo is a friendly and amazing math teacher; he drill us by giving many exercises and clear explanations. Lastly, Ms Chin is a good Biology and Physics teacher, making us attempt many helpful past year papers.

I am very grateful to the TLC teachers. They truly want to see their students succeed. Not only are they very attentive and engaging, they also offer emotional support. TLC teachers organised many outdoor activities for us which were all very entertaining. We got to indulge freely in our hobbies beyond the classroom. Thanks to their guidance, I have been awarded a full scholarship at UCSI University. I have successfully enrolled into their Foundation in Science course. I feel blessed to have been taught by a group of determined and sweet teachers from TLC Sri Damansara.

When I first joined TLC, I was a little skeptical as I had previously studied in a government school and was not used to the homeschooling environment. Even though I had doubts, TLC turned out to be a great choice. The teachers truly prepared me for the ‘IGCSE’ examinations. Their teaching methods were great and they were always willing to help students in need. I was particularly struggling with Additional Mathematics, but with constant guidance and practice, I was able to achieve my goal. Throughout TLC, I met classmates who have become close friends. My time here has helped me in moving forward to the next chapter of my life. This is an experience in which I cherish and will never forget.

I would like to compliment the TLC teachers for their exemplary dedication and their effort in delivering lessons exquisitely. The teachers were always there to help me whenever l struggled with my studies, and they truly prepared me for the ‘IGCSE’ examinations. Besides, this school is a great school for any learner, especially those who like small classes and who need one-on-one attention from the teachers. I feel so blessed to have studied in such a good school environment and taught by dedicated teachers. I want to thank all the teachers for their tremendous effort. They have got the spirit that brings the best out of students!

Throughout my time at TLC, it has become evident that the teachers have constantly put education and the well-being of students as their main priority. They were always more than happy to answer any questions or doubts. It was due to their relentless support and dedication that I was able to improve my grades, as well as grow as a person. I will forever respect their hard work and determination in providing the best education for every student. Additionally, although final year was especially stressful, their encouragement made us persevere to achieve our desired goals.

My time at TLC was a roller coaster ride. There were ups and downs, but that's part of life. I learnt from my mistakes, grew from there and transformed into a better person. Before TLC, my grades were barely average. However, as it got closer to finals, I managed get myself together. It was a long and stressful process, but I eventually got into a rhythm of things - understanding and focusing on my studies. Graduation day was when I finally realised just how thankful I was towards the teachers at TLC. My favourite was Mr Kumaran as his Biology classes were always very interesting. And although Mrs Chin may have been stern, she is the teacher I appreciate the most. TLC teachers just want the best for us, something all my ex-classmates would agree with. Coming from a government school made me appreciate the attitude of everyone at TLC - teachers and students. I don't think I would ever have had the chance of stepping into a University if I had not transferred to TLC. Enrolling here truly was a blessing in disguise, and the best school years of my life.

When I first enrolled at TLC, I was very uncertain and struggled in my studies. My grades in all subjects were pulling me down. My previous teachers found it very hard to teach me, and would get frustrated. Many of them doubted me. I did not have the courage to ask questions. However, at TLC I realised that no matter how small you think your question is, always take the initiative to ask the teacher. At TLC, teachers are patient and are willing to sit down patiently with you after hours, answering any doubts you may have. It is not easy to find teachers who would do that. This is what I love about TLC. I was able to enhance and develop my studies, which improved and made a big difference to my grades. I really value Mr. Kumaran (Chemistry), Ms. Liyana (Accounting) and Ms. Chin (Physics) for their effort, patience and passion in guiding and advising me in each subject. Most importantly, I appreciate their energy in teaching students like me - who always have doubts and questions. Thank you!
